Submitting a tool

Use the submission form. You will need an account — that is the only anti-spam measure here, and it is what keeps the queue readable.

Anyone can submit. You do not have to work for the vendor, and submitting does not claim the listing.

What happens next

A submission is a queue item, never a live page. Nothing you write is published on submission, and there is no delay after which it goes live by itself.

An editor checks the tool, writes the listing in our own words, and records the pricing from the vendor's published page. Your description is not published verbatim. This is not a slight on your writing — a catalog where each entry is written by a different interested party is not a comparison, and the several-hundred-word minimum for a listing exists precisely so that every page was written by someone comparing it against the others.

Until a listing has been reviewed, its outbound links carry rel="nofollow". Submitting is not a way to buy a link.

If you work for the vendor, claim the listing afterwards. That is a separate step — see claiming a listing — and it is what lets you propose corrections later.

What makes a submission easy to act on

A tool becomes a page only once it clears the listing bar. You can save an editor a round of research by including:

• The product URL, not a marketing landing page.
• The pricing page, if there is a public one. If there is not, say so — that is a fact about the product and we record it as one, rather than leaving the tool out.
• What it redacts (PDF, image, video, audio, text), how it is deployed (online, desktop, self-hosted, API, extension) and how it decides what to cover (manual, rule-based, AI, hybrid). Those three are required before anything can be listed.
• Anything that distinguishes it. "It is the only one that does X" is genuinely useful, and it is checkable.

Corrections

The same form takes corrections to existing listings. If a price here is wrong, this is the fastest way to tell us, whoever you are.
