RedactProof: pricing, features and limits

RedactProof (by UK-based Popsall Ltd) is built specifically around subject access request (SAR) and Freedom of Information (FOI) workflows, legal disclosure, HR investigations, medical records and court bundles — contexts where a recipient may need to independently verify that a redaction is genuine. It runs entirely in the browser (with an optional desktop accelerator for Mac/Windows that speeds up on-device detection up to 10x); no file is ever uploaded to a server. Detection combines regex/pattern matching (emails, phone numbers, national insurance numbers, IBANs, etc.) with on-device AI detection of 60+ PII types, OCR for scans/images, and always requires human review before its "pixel-burn" redaction permanently destroys the underlying content (not reversible). Its standout feature is verification: Pro-tier exports carry Ed25519-signed, SHA-256-hashed tamper-evident certificates with QR codes, so a recipient can independently confirm a document hasn't been altered since redaction, without needing an account. Pro also adds a full audit trail, jurisdiction-specific exemption codes (UK/US/Canada/EU), bulk processing (up to 20 documents/batch), and 2+-seat team features (maker-checker approval workflows, admin policy controls, centralised billing). Pricing runs from a genuinely free single-document trial with Pro-level features, through one-off Flex Packs for occasional use (£19 for 5 documents, or £59 for 25, both Core-level processing, valid 13 months, no certificates), an annual Core licence (£190/year per single user, unlimited documents on a fair-use basis), a per-seat Pro subscription (from £79/month/seat at 1-2 seats, with volume pricing stepping down to £69 at 3-9 seats, £63 at 10-24, £59 at 25-49, and £55 at 50+ seats), up to an invoiced Public Sector & Contract tier adding a signed DPA, attestations and onboarding.
